Our Story

Entrepreneurship across generations. Businesses across sectors.

HEMA GROUP was formally founded in 2006 by brothers G. Hari Kishore Reddy Gavireddygari and G. Uma Maheswar Reddy Gavireddygari. The family's entrepreneurial roots reach back to the 1980s through industrial manufacturing and engineering.

The Narrative

From industrial manufacturing in India to consumer businesses across Africa, from agribusiness and food production to real estate, infrastructure and sustainability, HEMA GROUP has evolved into a diversified family business built around entrepreneurship, technology, long-term thinking and responsible growth.

The Group expanded into Africa beginning with mineral-water manufacturing in Uganda in 2006, later growing into beverages, FMCG and agribusiness across multiple African markets. In India, the portfolio widened into real estate, land development, premium communities and sustainability businesses within the circular economy.
