Industrial Manufacturing
She holds an MBA in Finance (1994) and entered the family business in 1995, taking charge as Proprietor of Meghana Engineering Industries, which manufactured granite processing machinery, power lifting equipment, cranes and specialised lifting machinery used by the granite industry.
The business was part of the family's long-standing industrial operations and contributed to the development of specialised machinery for India's granite processing sector. Her involvement provided valuable experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, business management and commercial decision-making.
Residential Real Estate
Building on this entrepreneurial foundation, Aparna Kalyani entered the real estate sector in 2014 in Bengaluru, Karnataka, through Pearl Gate Comforts. Over the past 12+ years she has been actively involved in residential real estate development and project execution. Pearl Gate Comforts has successfully developed five residential projects, with a cumulative developed area of more than 5,00,000 sqft.
Her entrepreneurial involvement expanded through Shri Jyothiraadhitya Infra (SJI), co-founded with the family in 2017, which has built a land bank comprising more than 750 acres in Penukonda, Andhra Pradesh.
In 2022, the family's real-estate portfolio further expanded with Golden Threshold, established in Bengaluru, Karnataka to focus on the premium residential segment, including gated communities, villas and luxury apartments, holding approximately 50 acres of land bank in Bengaluru.
A Diversified Entrepreneurial Journey
Aparna Kalyani's entrepreneurial journey spans industrial manufacturing, international business and real estate development. She is also one of the Active Directors of HEMA Group, contributing to the group's broader business interests and strategic growth across India and Africa.
Through Pearl Gate Comforts, SJI and Golden Threshold, she has played an active role in developing residential projects ranging from plotted communities to premium gated communities, villas, luxury apartments and farmhouses.
Today she continues to contribute to both the family's diversified business interests and its growing real estate portfolio, with a focus on building professionally managed enterprises and creating quality developments across Bengaluru and Andhra Pradesh, India.
