Mr. Hari Kishore Reddy Gavireddygari

Mr. Hari Kishore Reddy began his entrepreneurial career in the 1980s, working alongside his father, Late Sri G. Lakshmipathi Reddy, in the family's manufacturing businesses. After graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) in 1980, he acquired a strong operational and commercial foundation in business management.

His early industrial footprint encompassed ceramic products and camphor manufacturing, which quickly expanded to address India's growing granite industry. He established manufacturing units for specialized machinery — Tadipatri stone-cutting machines, granite cutting machinery, and high-performance granite-polishing equipment.

Partnering with his younger brother, Mr. Uma Maheswar Reddy, he pioneered the introduction of advanced water-polishing machinery for granite processing in India. This technical milestone significantly enhanced operational standards and quality benchmarks across the domestic stone processing industry.

In 2006, Hari Kishore Reddy and his family established their business platform in Africa, beginning with mineral water manufacturing in Uganda. In 2007, they co-founded HEMA Beverages, entering the liquor and beverage manufacturing sector.

Over the next two decades, the Group developed a highly diversified manufacturing and consumer products platform spanning East and Southern Africa, including operations in Uganda, Malawi, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Angola and Zimbabwe. The portfolio includes beverages, liquor, premium mineral water and fresh juices.

To support large-scale manufacturing operations, the Group constructed a 50-acre state-of-the-art industrial estate in Kampala, Uganda, characterized by advanced heavy machinery, modern manufacturing infrastructure and stringent workplace-safety standards.

Addressing essential consumer needs, he built a commercial egg-production footprint. Launching in Malawi in 2013, commercial poultry operations scaled from 100,000 to over 300,000 eggs per day. This framework was replicated in Zambia and expanded into Zimbabwe.

In 2017, the Zimbabwe division diversified into corn flour, wine and kombucha — reflecting a broader strategy of investing in high-volume staple consumer goods, generating local employment and strengthening regional supply chains and domestic food security.

Mr. Hari Kishore Reddy has established a significant presence in India's real estate sector over the past decade, with expertise across residential layout development, strategic land consolidation and premium community development — creating high-value projects with a strong focus on quality, scale and long-term value creation.

Marking a strategic expansion into the green economy, Mr. Hari Kishore Reddy established Amber Enterprises, an Authorized Vehicle Scrapping Facility (AVSF) located in Chandapur, Siddipet District, Telangana. Amber possesses dedicated infrastructure spanning a 5.5-acre operational facility and an expansive 25-acre vehicle storage yard.

The facility supports systematic, environmentally responsible disposal — including the collection, dismantling, depollution and structured recycling of End-of-Life Vehicles (ELVs) — leading the transition towards a formalized circular economy in India.

Ventures across Africa create employment and strengthen local economies, while philanthropic efforts in India focus on supporting the development of the hometown and surrounding regions in Andhra Pradesh.
